Cummins Inc. is a global leader in power solutions, operating through five segments: Engine, Distribution, Components, Power Systems, and Accelera. The company provides diesel and natural gas engines, drivetrain systems, aftertreatment technologies, turbochargers, fuel systems, electronic controls, and various types of transmissions. It also supplies power generation systems, high-horsepower engines, standby and prime power generators, and turnkey energy solutions using diesel, natural gas, and emerging clean fuels. Through its Accelera segment, Cummins offers electrified power systems, including batteries, fuel cells, electric powertrains, and hydrogen technologies. Its customers include OEMs, distributors, dealers, and end users. Founded in 1919 and headquartered in Columbus, Indiana, the company was renamed Cummins Inc. in 2001.
