The Saudi market started last week on a weak note.
At one point, it looked like sellers were taking control.
But by the end of the week, TASI managed to recover and close with a modest gain of around 0.5%.
On the surface, that may look positive.
But the bigger picture tells a different story.
When we zoom out, TASI continues to trade within a broad downward-sloping channel that has been in place for quite some time.
At the same time, it is not showing enough weakness to break down.
Nor is it showing enough strength to break higher.
In other words:
The market is moving, but not progressing.
Right now, the most important area is:
📍 10,900 – 11,150
This range is becoming the market's decision zone.
A convincing move above it could attract fresh buying interest.
A break below it could shift momentum back toward the bears.
Until one side wins, expect continued back-and-forth movement.
Beyond this range, 10,400–10,500 remains a strong support area, while 11,700–11,800 continues to be a major hurdle for the bulls.
Many traders make the mistake of becoming aggressive when the market has no clear direction.
This is often where unnecessary losses happen.
The current setup is sending a simple message:
Patience may be more valuable than prediction.
TASI remains trapped within a well-defined range, with neither buyers nor sellers firmly in control.
For now, investors should focus less on chasing every move and more on how the market behaves around these key levels.
