The Saudi market is showing signs of a pause.
After declining the previous week, TASI traded in a very narrow range of around 100 points between 11,000 and 11,100, ending the week almost flat.
While the move may look uneventful, the technical picture is becoming more interesting.
The most important takeaway is that TASI continues to hold above 11,000.
The index has tested this area several times, and buyers have continued to defend it. This suggests that there is still demand around the level.
For now, 11,000 remains the key support.
A sustained break below it, however, could put the market under renewed pressure and bring the 10,500–10,400 support zone back into focus.
On the upside:
🔹 11,200–11,300 → Key resistance
TASI needs to break and hold above this zone to show that buyers are gaining stronger control.
Until that happens, the index remains trapped between support around 11,000 and resistance around 11,200–11,300.
The narrow range after the recent decline could be a sign that the market is building up for its next directional move.
A breakout above 11,200–11,300 could improve momentum and open the door for a stronger recovery.
On the other hand, a decisive break below 11,000 would turn the picture more negative and could trigger another leg lower.
Traders should remain very cautious.
This is not a market to chase.
For now, it may be better to wait and see whether buyers can produce a bullish pattern around 11,000 before considering fresh buying positions.
