Tadawul remained under pressure for another week, with TASI falling 1.94% to close at 10,393, marking its fifth consecutive weekly decline.
More importantly, the index has now closed below the 10,400–10,500 support zone, an area that has held as support since October 2023.
The breakdown below 10,400–10,500 is a significant development and keeps the near-term trend under pressure.
However, after five consecutive weekly declines, the index is now looking oversold, so a short-term technical bounce cannot be ruled out.
If selling continues, the next important support comes around:
🔹 10,000–9,900 → Next major support
This zone is important as it is both a psychological level and close to the lower boundary of the falling channel.
The chart continues to show strong selling pressure, so this is not the time to rush into fresh long positions.
A short-term bounce is possible, but traders should wait for clear signs that buyers are stepping back in before considering fresh positions.
Until buyers return, capital protection matters more than chasing a falling market.
